A COMPELLING ECONOMIC QUESTION

Nobel Prize winner, Milton Friedman, was interviewed by Phil Donahue in 1979. Trying to disturb Friedman’s unwavering position on capitalism, Donahue asked his guest, “… did you ever have a moment of doubt about capitalism and whether greed is a good idea to run on?” Friedman responded, “Well, first of all, is there some society that you know that doesn’t run on greed?” Continue reading
